Cameron Carew-Andrews, LPC
Owner & Clinical Director
Welcome! I’m Cam (they/them), a therapist, supervisor, and consultant that is passionate about collective liberation, decolonial praxis, and authenticity in mental health spaces and in our communities. I see my role as a facilitator of growth, reflection, and authenticity for individuals, organizations, and community members. I am especially passionate about supporting queer and gender-diverse early-career clinicians navigate therapy world as their authentic selves and helping organizations create space for LGBTQIA+ people to thrive.
Social Location
I am a queer, fat, white, disabled person that grew up in rural Southeastern Wisconsin in a small lower-middle-class family during the George W. Bush and Obama years. Growing up in Wisconsin, in this body, during this time opened my eyes to systemic injustices and the toll of American capitalism on the health and wellbeing of society. I began college in the early 2010s and have since worked in healthcare, higher education, non-profit, and social services settings, which have further cemented my passion for decolonial praxis and community care. I’ve been in the Pacific Northwest since 2016, completing my Bachelors and Masters degrees at Oregon State University. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my family, engaging in my local buy-nothing group, crafting quietly at home, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts about anti-capitalism and spooky stuff.
