Who I Work With
I work best with clinicians who value depth, reflection, and social justice; who want to integrate personal and professional identity work; and who are committed to practicing in ways aligned with their values. I am comfortable supervising clinicians that utilize ACT, CBT, RCT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, and IFS that see folks aged 12+ in individual and group settings. I also have experience in both small groups and community mental health settings and am comfortable supervising clinicians navigating these systems and seeing clients served by Medicaid. Overall, my supervision is ideal for those drawn to relational, narrative, or systemic perspectives and for anyone seeking a space for accountability, creativity, and skillful growth.
What to Expect
In supervision, you can expect a supportive, thoughtful environment where learning is active and collaborative. We will discuss social location, your learning and integration of theory, and administrative aspects of this work. My goal is to help you develop confidence, ethical clarity, and professional sustainability—so you can hold complexity, honor your clients’ lived experiences, and thrive in your work.
My Approach
Supervision is more than a requirement—it’s a collaborative relationship built on reflection, growth, and mutual learning. I provide a space where clinicians can explore both the technical and relational dimensions of clinical work, grounded in curiosity, authenticity, and care. My practice emphasizes transparency, cultural humility, and anti-oppressive principles, helping supervisees navigate both clinical decisions and systemic dynamics that shape their work.
Theoretical Foundations
My supervision style is informed by the Discrimination Model of Supervision through a developmental lens where my role flexes as teacher, mentor, cheer-leader, consultant, and counselor to meet the unique needs of supervisees from a developmental perspective. My supervision is also influenced by primary clinical modalities/approaches which includes: Decolonial Psychology, Relational Cultural Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative approaches, and harm-reduction. Similarly, my population specialties are: LGBTQIA+ individuals and especially those early on in gender transition, neurodivergent folks, chronic illness/pain, complex trauma, and anyone that resonates with a Health at Every Size approach.
I see the supervisory relationship as a parallel process—what emerges between us often reflects patterns in your work with clients. Together, we examine interventions, build case conceptualizations, and engage in professional growth through both skill-building and reflective inquiry.
work.
