Therapy
The support you deserve
My Approach
My therapy practice is grounded in relational, affirming, and liberation-oriented care. I work primarily with queer and trans individuals and those navigating identity, transition, and healing from systemic and interpersonal harm. Drawing from Relational-Cultural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and components of Dilectical Behavioral Theapy, I support clients in deepening self-understanding, building meaningful connections, and moving toward lives aligned with their values. My work is rooted in harm reduction, Health at Every Size, and a commitment to collective liberation and decolonial practice.
Who I Work With and My Offerings
Individuals
I enjoy working with a variety of clients and clinical topics. Common populations I work with include:
Aged 18 and older
Mood-related concerns (anxiety, depression, difficulties adjusting after life events)
Those exploring gender/sexuality and especially those early on in their 'coming out' or gender transition journey
Folks that have experienced a change in health status and those that want support navigating disability
Healthcare workers
Folks that have experienced chronic and/or complex trauma
College students
Groups
I offer community-based support groups and therapy groups to reduce isolation and foster connection. Groups include:
Parenting in Transition: support group for parents of queer/trans children
Shifting with Intention: support group for individuals with a loved one transitioning
Unmasking & Unwinding: support group for individuals healing from neuro-divergent burnout
Coping with Capitalism: group therapy utilizing ACT to help individuals learn to live your values under western imperialism & capitalism
Drawn to Equity: group therapy utilizing RCT and Narrative Therapy to support teens wanting to learn more about anti-racism and process internalized racism via art and group discussion/feedback
Each group is designed to support reflection, skill-building, and collective care in affirming environments. Groups consist of a maximum of 6 clients, meet for 1 hour each session, and run for approximately 10 weeks at a time. *Note: Pre-admission screening for all groups is required.
WPATH Letters
I also do single-session letters of support compliant with WPATH SOC 8. The fee includes one 1.5 hour long session as well as the time it takes to write the letter. *Please note, receipt of letter is contingent upon the client meeting WPATH standards of eligibility, and as a result receipt of a letter cannot be guaranteed at onset of services.
